Sermorelin is a synthetic peptide analog of growth hormone–releasing hormone (GHRH) that works by stimulating the pituitary gland to release endogenous growth hormone. The main role of GHRH is to stimulate the pituitary gland to produce and release growth hormone into the bloodstream. Sermorelin may help support normal physiological processes associated with growth hormone activity, such as metabolic function, tissue repair, and overall hormonal balance. Sermorelin is available by prescription only and should be used solely under medical supervision; it is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
